The intrigue created by the street elevation sets this design apart, it was decided that due to orientation and privacy issues most of the family living and outdoor areas would reside on the preferred northern side. The first floor parents retreat and master bedroom area appears to hover as it creates cover to the front entry. The horizontality of the external cladding and timber shade screen provides continuity to this upper level shape; which brings an overall balance to the design.
